About Page's Place and Me
I was born in a now non-existent coal mining town in the beautiful state of West Virginia. My earliest memories are of real cho-cho trains, the company store, and those drated "revenue men". But that is another story for another time! My love of family, learning, and science was carefully nurtured by my father. We spent endless hours discussing, debating, and dreaming about most everything. When we first listened to a science program about computers on our floor model radio, our imaginations took flight. What could such an invention mean to the average, everyday person?
Page's Place is a partial answer to that question, and is my little piece of real estate in the cyberworld. My cyberhome will be constantly changing with sections on family history past and present, and a section on graphics that leads me to many different avenues of exploration and learning. My ultimate goal is making a unique scrape book for each of my children and grandchildren. Each will receive two types: a physical one with photo's and history; and a DVD that includes animations and video, all created with PhotoImpact and other Ulead products. What a world! It can be anything I want it to be.
Many thanks to: Budding HTML Gurus for teaching me the basic html techniques for building my home; the Ulead Company that supplies tools for my graphic addictions; and Bravenet for supplying ample web space and bandwidth, and all the individual's that encouraged and taught me along the way.
Thank you for visiting my site! I hope you will visit often to see what's new in my place.
